Gem State Invitational

This past weekend we traveled to Pocatello, ID for another dance competition. Hannah's studio did AwEsOmE - taking home 3 - 1st place trophies, 2 - 2nd place trophies, 1 - 3rd place trophy and a best costume award. It was a great weekend! Bella's Gymnastics Program

This year Bella took gymnastics for the first time. She LoVeD it! She worked very hard and we are so proud of her performance at the end of year program. She had to perform a short routine in each of the following areas: beam, bars, floors & vault. Here are a few shots:

A brief overview...

Well I've done it once again. Fallen off the blogosphere, that is. Here is a very short synopsis of our crazy life the last couple of months:

States visited - 3: Utah, Colorado, Idaho and back to Wyoming
Celebrations - lots: Mother's Day and many family birthdays
Programs - 1: Gymnastics, 1 Spicer gymnast
Dance Competitions - 1: Gem State Invitational (placed 1st and 2nd - woohoo)
Company Board Meetings - 1
School Board Meeting - 6
Doctor Visits - 4
Orthodontist Visits - 2
Dentist Visits - 1
Hair Cuts - 5
Field Trips - 4
PTO Events I've been in charge of - 2 (and they were doozies)
Kindergarten Registrations - 1
Kindergarten Shots - 4 & 1 screaming child who had to be physically restrained by 2 parents
BOCES Classes registered for - 5 (these are fun little summer classes for the kids)

and in the upcoming two weeks:

Dance Recitals - 1: 2 performances, 3 Spicer performers
Piano Recitals - 1: 1 performance, 4 Spicer performers
Final Project for Quest - 1 (trust me this is a BIG deal in our house right now)
Field Trips - 4
Field Day - 1
Preschool Graduations - 1: one Spicer graduate
Family Marathons to run - 1 (only in my dreams do I perform fabulously)
Parents Anniversaries to celebrate - 2 (Marus: 40th & Spicers 41st!!!)

well I have been having a good week and a bad one. For instance, my skink died when I was at school and boy did I cry. Then half an hour later I got a dwarf hamster named Walli. I found out she was a girl yesterday which was nice because I know have a GIRL pet I sleep with every night. Well, lets just say Mia, my sister, will NOT LEAVE HER ALONE!!!!!!!!!! So now Walli sleeps all day long. which kinda gets annoying. So ya i love her but when ever i hold her i have to use a scarf so she doesn't bite me. I've saving up for a friend for walli but i have to ''discuss'' it with my parents. well lets hope she doesn't keep trying to bite me.
