Playing in the snow, hot tea, warm slippers, chunky sweaters, a cozy fire in the fireplace — these are just some of the simple joys of winter. Winter is the season for celebrating family holidays and traditions, and making lifelong memories. My most vivid memories from my childhood are of building snow forts, skiing, celebrating the Christmas holiday with family, crispy cold weather and scary drives on slippery roads.
